“Kiwanis key, key to life” 14th time

In October  there was fundraising organized by the district and performed by all clubs in Iceland.

With the sale of the K-key or Kiwanis-key Kiwanis supports BUGL hospital for mentally ill children and PIETA organization to prevent suicide. We won two companies to support us and they did pay for the advertisement attach that was showed in the TV every night for over week  we also got a letter form the President of Iceland where he declare his support to  this fundraising as well as he did buy the first key. On the board meeting last Saturday Gylfi Ingvarsson chairman of the K-day committee brought us the result of this fundraising
We did collect 235.000 € and  as the cost of advertisement is paid by supporting company  the cost is very low. The funds will be presented to BUGL and PIETA after the new year.

The text of the video is :  on the date of  1-10 October Kiwanis will be selling the K-key to support BUGL and PIETA to help children  with mental disorder. Buy the K- Key and help people with mental disorder to live normal life. “K-Key key to life”  and then come the supporting company declaring their support to the project .
