Growth meeting in Bruxelles
In the last few days there has taken place the first meeting of the Federation Committee for Growth and Development in Bruxelles. Under the direction of Daniel Vigneron, past European President, and Ulrich Marki the different boards tackled and discussed which strategies to adopt in order to let Kiwanis grow in Europe. During the meeting particular attention was paid to Junior Kiwanis as a possible breeding-ground for new young members. Sergio Giummo, youth governor of the Italian District, explained what Junior Kiwanis is and what it has done until today by, also, pointing out what advantage a district may take of opening up new Junior Kiwanis clubs. At the end of the session Gianfilippo, the President, thanked everybody for their commitment and reminded that searching for new members, opening up new clubs, letting Kiwanis grow is not only the duty of any Kiwanian but it means, above all, to give world children a hope by services.
