KIWANIS
The name Kiwanis comes from the language of the original American Otchipew people. There are numerous translations for "Nunc Kee-Wanis":
"We enjoy being active!"
"We share our talents!"
"We make noise!"
Kiwanis is committed to giving children on every continent a better future. We want to make sure that they are believed in, cared for and allowed to develop.
But Kiwanis is more than that: it is an attitude to life. Growing personally, cultivating friendships and serving the community are our cornerstones. At our club meetings we cultivate friendships. Lectures broaden our horizons.
Kiwanis makes the world a better place by making a lasting difference in the lives of children.
Kiwanis connects people and influences the lives of children in a sustainable and positive way. Through volunteering, we want to develop ourselves personally - in and with the help of the large Kiwanis family.
